    Group Relations China

    An Online Workshop

We are currently experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic which are having an impact on the wellbeing of employees in many significant ways. There is even the possibility that implications may be felt for many months and even years.

A result of the virus is that there is an environment with a high degree of uncertainty occurring in organisations, which is affecting the wellbeing of employees. The aim of this Workshop is to identify and make sense of the effects of this uncertainty; and then, consider planning in organisations as to what to do about it, with a view to the wellbeing of all concerned.

Learning will be provided from inputs by staff, personal learning, and learning from other members, in a highly participative process.

Clearly, employers, leaders, managers, and employees of all manners of organisations will want to attend and gain the benefits of this Workshop. Others such as coaches and organisational consultants will also find this a valuable insight to the considerations and problems currently facing organisations.

If we are to develop a high-quality Group Relations Learning Programme, it will be appreciated that continuous staff development is important.

    In Conference Development:

Group Relations events are learning events for all staff as well as members. All consultants work with more senior consultants in one-on-one CPD meetings, where they can further their understanding of the Group Relations learning and consultant role.

    Annual CPD workshop:

The purpose of this event is to ensure that Group Relations China is continuing to achieve its aim of providing high quality Group Relations learning for Chinese people. This event is open to all Group Relations China consultants. The annual CPD workshops are facilitated by Lionel Stapley and Yujia Zhang, who identify and provide opportunities for understanding various vital aspects of taking up the consultant role.

We now have twelve high-quality consultants who have all gone through a demanding development process. All are engaged in a Continuous Professional Development Programme which will continue over the years, extending their competence to all aspects of Group Relations learning.
